I know some of you jamming first-person shooters would prefer using a keyboard and mouse for better control and accuracy. Me personally, I'm fine with dual analog sticks, but you're not me and I'm not you, and that is why matlo's judicious hack-job is now in your hands.
Developer matlo has taken the Sixaxis/ bluetooth emulation work of Jim Paris, modified it heavily, developed a GUI for easy configuration and custom control mapping, simplified the installation process for debian-based Linux distros, such as Ubuntu, and has now made it all available for anyone and everyone.

Pretty cool.
Of course this setup can be used for any game -- not just shooters. So if you're running Linux and have the necessary hardware, which is really just a Sixaxis controller and a bluetooth dongle, then get setup by following this tutorial, right here.
